Positions Currently Available: 



FT – Technician   


CDS is seeking skilled alarm installation technicians to join our team, who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want to have a meaningful impact on customer and company results. Successful candidates will have customer service orientation, strong communication skills, and is properly trained in intrusion alarm installation. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Customer facing daily with meeting daily appointments
  • Attention to detail
  • Installation and troubleshooting alarms in residential and commercial settings
  • Promoting the latest technology in security and the benefits it has to offer for the home owner
  • Being professional and courteous to clients

Required Expertise:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of smartphones and tablets
  • Willingness to learn
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to work proficiently unsupervised
  • Must be able to pass criminal background check, proof of residency, clean driving record, and drug screening
  • All candidates must be physically able to climb ladders, work in crawl spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work with basic tools: Drill, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.

Compensation: Compensation is negotiable based upon candidate’s knowledge and experience. Sentry Security Service offers competitive wages.

PT – Bookkeeper  


We are looking for an experienced part time Bookkeeper to be responsible for entering:

  • Operational bills and preparing operational bill payment checks for signature.
  • Entries for weekly deposits, automated transfers and other journal entries as directed.
  • Bi-weekly Payroll entries.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Filing all bill and invoice documentation, payroll records and weekly deposits.
  • Receiving and recording fees.
  • Other book keeping duties.

The Bookkeeper is responsible for executing approved financial responsibilities in a manner of excellence and fiscal integrity. We are seeking an individual who has:

  • 3-5 yrs. work as a bookkeeper or similar position
  • Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent education or training
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills including MS Office
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks accounting software preferred, but will consider other accounting software experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to take direction and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality in all matters
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Dependable attendance. Hours somewhat flexible.

Job Type: Part-time 8 to 10 hours per week.

Required Experience: Bookkeeping experience of approximately 3 years
